Why not paint a fox mask with your own original design at the popular Japanese culture experience cafe in Asakusa? Fox masks are a type of traditional Japanese mask, especially related to Shinto and folk beliefs. Foxes are sacred beings in Japanese myths and legends, and are especially worshiped as messengers of the Inari god. Fox masks play an important role in these beliefs and festivals. First, choose your favorite fox mask and paint your favorite colors and designs on the white mask. Use various paints, from acrylic paints, to paint your ideas with paint. The staff will support you, so even beginners can enjoy creating. The traditional atmosphere of Asakusa and the mysterious elements of the fox mask combine to create a special experience. [Types of fox masks to choose from] ・Full (fox mask) ・Half (fox mask) ▶Fox masks Fox masks are used in Nohgaku (a general term for Noh and Kyogen) and Kagura (dance and song performed to worship the gods). They are often considered to be auspicious, as they are enshrined as messengers of the gods at Inari Shrine. In addition, fox masks are said to bring good fortune such as bountiful harvests, prosperity in business, and safety in the home. *Depending on the stock situation, we may not be able to provide the body you want.

Nokogiriyama is known as a lesser known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. With its jagged ridgeline resembling the teeth of a saw, and the remains of the quarry where Boso stone was quarried by the stone-cutting industry until the Showa era, it looks like an abandoned building, and this otherworldly space that appears in the middle of nature has become popular. On this tour, you will pass through the streets of Kanaya, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry, and climb the "Sharikko Road," a road that once transported quarried stone, with a guide. While enjoying the climb, which is low above sea level but has a large elevation difference, you will feel the breath of the craftsmen of the time, and trace the history of how Boso stone supported Japan's modernization and declined over time.

Nokogiriyama is known as a low-profile mountain on the Boso Peninsula. On its southern side is the grounds of Nippon-ji Temple, the imperial temple of Emperor Shomu, which will celebrate its 1,300th anniversary in 2025. This plan is a half-day tour to experience the charms of Nokogiriyama Nippon-ji Temple, starting from JR Yasuda Station, walking along the main approach to the temple and climbing Nokogiriyama from the mountain gate. Once inside the Nippon-ji Temple grounds, you can enjoy the mystical atmosphere of the tallest Buddha statue in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), as well as the 1,500 arhat statues arranged on the mountainside. Climb the stairs to the top of the mountain, pass by the famous photo spots "Hell Peek" and "Hyakushaku Kannon", and then use the ropeway to return down the mountain.

A private trekking tour with a guide around the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a lesser-known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. This is a special tour that allows you to enjoy the sights of Mt. Nokogiri, a unique mountain where the remains of the stone-cutting industry that supported the region and the Buddhist world of Nihon-ji Temple are back to back, all in one day! We start by walking through the streets of Kanaya, which flourished as a stone-cutting industry from the Edo period to the Showa period, and then head to the Nokogiriyama Ropeway Station. After entering the grounds of Nihon-ji Temple and worshiping the "Hyakushaku Kannon," we trace the scenery and history of the remains of the quarry, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry and now stands like an ancient ruin. After that, we proceed while listening to the guide's explanations about the sights such as the famous photo spots "Peeking into Hell" and "1,500 Arhats," and the tallest "Great Buddha" in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), and finally descend the mountain by ropeway and disband. *There will be a lunch break along the way.
