■Schedule■ Please board the shuttle bus to the hotel at the front right side of the north exit of Sapporo Station. (10:50 meeting/11:00 departure) Please be punctual. ↓ Take the free shuttle bus (to Chateau Sen Gateaux Kingdom Sapporo Hotel & Resort) to Barato in Kita-ku, Sapporo (about 45 minutes ride) ↓ Arrive at Chateau Sen Gateaux Kingdom Sapporo Hotel & Resort (around 11:45) *A staff member will wait for you at the arrival point and guide you. ↓ Enjoy the stylish lunch buffet that the hotel is proud of, with all-you-can-eat and drink. (From 11:50 to around 13:00) ↓ After using the toilet, getting ready, and receiving a lecture on how to fish, move to the smelt fishing venue by private car (takes 5 to 15 minutes) *The location is expected to change depending on the ice conditions. ↓ After arriving at the fishing spot, start your smelt fishing experience immediately. (Available from 13:30 to a maximum of around 16:10) We will provide all the fishing equipment, tackle, bait, etc., so you can participate empty-handed. A professional guide will provide guidance and instruction. (Maximum stay of just under 3 hours) *You can try the smelt tempura. (Limited quantity) ↓ After enjoying fishing, move to the hotel (arrive around 16:20) and take a break in the toilet, etc. ↓ 17:00 Depart Chateraise Gateau Kingdom Sapporo Hotel & Resort on a free private bus (*If you wish, you can take a hot spring bath, etc., for an additional fee, and then return on the 19:10 bus.) ↓ Around 17:45 Arrive at the north exit of Sapporo Station and disband
My wife and I joined the Smelt Fishing tour (ID 19526) on Feb 27, 2019. It was a very enjoyable and memorable expecriance for us. We left Bell Square and procced to a Resort Hotel for a buffet lunch. After which we were transferred to the fishing area. There were 4 of us in the tent, we started fishing with the mini fishing rods. Important tips: try to replace the old bates with new ones (small worms!) as often as possible, this will increase your chance to get more fish!!! The staffs are very helpful. We appreciate the services of Kazuo Hino-san, together with his colleague. Cheers!!
