It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. A course that flows through the Kushiro Wetlands, starting from Lake Toro on a wide and calm river, you can enjoy a leisurely canoe ride down to Hosooka Station while feeling the breeze blowing through the wetlands. Basically, you won't get wet, so it's okay if you come in clothes that are suitable for the climate and easy to move in. For those who are short on time, we recommend the short course from Hosooka Station to Iwahogi Water Gate. *This is a standard course.

The cleanest part of the river, 113 km in length, is the headwater course that descends from Lake Kussharo. If you take a break between the flowing mirrors of the spring or go through the trees, you will be considerably healed. ※ This is a standard course.

The Kushiro River is one of Japan's best fishing spots, home to many big fish such as rainbow trout, Japanese ito, American trout, and Yamame trout. At points that can only be accessed by raft boat, a once-in-a-lifetime encounter may be waiting for you. You can enjoy the magnificent nature of Kushiro Marsh and the beautiful scenery of each season on a leisurely raft boat.
