3-theater common ticket [Korakukan + Kosaka Mine Office + Kosaka Railway Rail Park] This is a great value ticket that includes a theater performance at Korakukan, a national important cultural property, the Kosaka Mine Office, the Kosaka Railway Rail Park, and a tour of the 3 facilities. The Meiji era playhouse Korakukan is still active for over 100 years and still performs regular performances (popular theater and other) today. The 2025 performances are April 23rd to July 27th, "Shitamachi Kabuki Gumi" Leader Mimine Toru → Starring Shingetsu Kaito → Starring Hitomi Hiroshi (Starring Subaru Toma), with performances taking place in rotation for about one month each. In 1910, the Meiji era theater "Korakukan" was built as a welfare facility for the employees of the Kosaka Mine. The exterior of the building is Western-style, while the inside is purely Japanese. The most distinctive feature of this theater is its blend of Japanese and Western styles, which is rare for a theater. Staff dressed in black costumes will guide you through the Korakukan facility. Enjoy an eye-opening behind-the-scenes look at a living theatre!
