The black-painted storehouse buildings have been left as they were at the time, and inside there are a wide variety of shops, including cafes, restaurants, and general stores. About 300m away from Ichibangai Street is Kashiya Yokocho. There are rows of old-fashioned sweets shops and rice cracker shops facing each other. It is a popular spot not only with tourists but also with local children.
