This mountain range was named ``Showa Shinzan'' because it appeared during the reign of Emperor Showa. (1 hour recommended) *15:00 Approximately 10 minutes by car to Toyako Onsen Town Toyako Onsen is Japan's 3rd largest hot spring with the largest amount of hot water. It got its name because it is located on the shore of Lake Toya. It overlooks Lake Toya. The view of Mt. Yotei and the lake-colored mountains in the distance is attractive.
