Miyazaki in Canoe

This is a private Canadian canoe (wood & canvas) experience limited to one family, set on the dam lake in Misato Town, Miyazaki Prefecture. You can relax in a canoe made by craftsmen using construction methods and designs from 120 years ago. The guide will give a thorough lecture on the calm water with almost no water current, so even first-timers can participate with confidence. Drinks and snacks will be provided during breaks along the way.

It is a one-day canoe tour of Ogawa called "clear stream of miracle". As a river where canoeing is possible, the water of the river is really clear and transparent. It flows slowly, and it does not feel much stress because it is repeated so favorably. The width of the river is narrow, and it is safe because it can land on the nearby riverside immediately when it is overturned or tired. Even beginners can enjoy canoeing fun. What is the secret of "the miracle clear stream"? It is in the formation of a river. Looking at the surrounding mountains, it looks like 60% of evergreen trees, 20% of broadleaf trees and 20% of cedar trees. When I planted cedar in Japan, I think it was not planted because there was no soil. So the mountain is kept healthy. If you look closely, there are many small swamps in the river, but usually you can not see water on the surface. I think it is probably going underground and welling up. So this river is a gathering of spring water! You can see many fish from the top of the canoe. It seems that the fish species is the best in Japan when combined with the mainstream of Kitagawa! Certainly 246 types? I wonder if it was? That is a rich river. We will not go canoeing since September, when it will be a traditional fishing with sweetfish which will be traditional sweetfish fishing. Because it causes trouble to the fisherman. It is limited to the period from April to August.
