Welcome to our canoe tour set in the rich mangrove forests of Amami Oshima. You will not be with other tour guests at our shop. We aim to provide a completely private and memorable tour. Canoes are available in single and double seater. (A highly stable canoe for beginners) = Single seater = Excellent stability and maneuverability, ideal for people aged 7 to 60 years old. Designed for beginners to enjoy with peace of mind, it is chosen by many guests. = Double seater = Recommended for families with small children or when riding with elderly people. You can experience the fun of rowing together in unison. Mangrove forests are places that are affected by the ebb and flow of the ocean tides. [Chitose River Cruise] It's about a 20-minute drive from New Chitose Airport, and you'll be surprised to see such rich nature in such a place... The Chitose River makes you think so. You'll go down with a guide while watching the fish peeking out of the crystal clear water and the small birds flying through the trees. We'll talk about a lot of things, such as Hokkaido's wildlife and vegetation, Ainu culture, and the history of development, while enjoying the breeze of nature! [A boat tour with a great sense of stability!] River touring of about 8 kilometers from the meeting point, Daiichi Usakumai Bridge, to the area near Chitose City's Sports Center! You'll go down in a wide rafting boat, so there's almost no risk of capsizing! You can stop the boat along the way to look for creatures, or you can cool off by putting your feet in the river and going down the river. Enjoy the beautiful Chitose River with peace of mind! The boat will be steered by a safe and secure guide, so it's especially recommended for those who are worried about river rafting, families with children, and those who want to take their time taking photos! The boat can accommodate up to 7 adults, or 8 people if you include children, making it a great way to make some memorable trip memories! As of 2024, this is a course where you can fully enjoy Lake Shikotsu, which boasts the second highest transparency in Japan, and the Chitose River that flows out of it. A long-awaited dog-only plan for dog lovers! Because it is a charter plan, you can play without worrying about other customers. *Some photos show a bicycle on a packraft (rubber boat), but this plan is for river rafting only and does not include cycling. "I'm planning a trip to Shimanto, but there are no companies that can play with my dog!" This plan is perfect for those who want to enjoy the nature of the Shimanto River with their dog! Shimanto River is the only charter plan exclusively for dogs. It is planned under the supervision of “One Life,” which operates dog runs and dog cafes in Shimanto City. Leave all the trouble to the guide! So basically you can enjoy it empty-handed. The basic charge is for up to 2 people + 1 dog. If you would like to add more participants or dogs, please select the option. Due to the availability of Okera Adventures vehicles, guests must use their own vehicle for groups of 4 or more.
