It is a walking tour around power spots in Tokigawa Town, Saitama Prefecture. Those who like walking, those who like nature, and those who want to be healed by nature. One person is also very welcome! ! About 30 minutes from Kanetsu Expressway Higashimatsuyama IC! Satoyama is the closest to Tokyo! Tokigawa town. There are many beautiful mountains and nature in Tokigawa! While enjoying the scenery, the guide guides you along a course with little difference in elevation. It is a tour around Hagi Hiyoshi Shrine with cedars! (You can get a red stamp at Jikoji Temple.) You can also observe many plants along the course and enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. Refresh your mind and body by touching mountains and nature up close that you can't see in the city!
Jikoji Temple is a famous temple with a history of 1300 years, and was revered by Minamoto no Yoritomo! It houses many nationally designated important cultural properties, including the national treasure Lotus Sutra Ippinkyo. There is also a Buddhist temple called "Senju Kannon" that uses all possible means to relieve people's troubles, and the Tarayou tree, which is said to have been planted at the time of its foundation, has leaves that can be used to write letters on the underside of the leaves. It seems that it has become the origin of the postcard.
The god of this shrine is called Sarutahiko, a god who guides people, and the three-legged crow that flies around it is called Yatagarasu, a messenger of the god. Visitors come from afar to worship the god of traffic safety, the god of fertility, and the god of marriage. The approximately 800-year-old Komochi cedar tree has been designated as a natural monument, and its presence is truly a masterpiece! ! You can refresh your mind and body by taking a deep breath in the precincts! !
