Hinaisara Falls is Iriomote Island's most popular and impressive waterfall. The 55-meter waterfall, visible from the underwater pier in Funaura Bay, is truly impressive. Observing the shift in habitat from the ocean to mangroves, wetlands, and land as you approach the waterfall is a great way to understand the close relationship between the ocean and forest. Depart by kayak from the nearby Murray River dock. Transfer to the Hinai River, then ascend upstream to the finish line, disembarking from the kayak and walking.
