Hikone Castle Museum, 1987 Year (1987) February, Hikone Municipal 50th anniversary Year to commemorate, was built to serve as the Hikone Castle table palace of restoring a was the Government Office of the Hikone clan. The collection and exhibition of arts and crafts and ancient documents from the Ii family, who served as the lord of the Hikone domain for generations and played an important role in the shogunate government, showcases a number of daimyo tools suitable for the family of the Fudai Daimyo. In addition, in the wooden building that restored the lord's residence, you can see the lord's living room, tea room, and garden that were reproduced just like in the Edo period. Year Kansei (1800), is located in the center of the building and is the only remaining Noh stage of the Daimyo Palace. It is still used as a stage for traditional performing arts, while retaining the style of the time.

大名道具の筆頭にあげられ、武家の象徴でもある甲冑と刀剣。彦根藩井伊家では、藩主から家臣に至るまで朱色で統一した甲冑で身を固め、旗のほか鞍鐙(くらあぶみ)などの武具類も朱色としていました。これを「井伊の赤備え」と呼びます。井伊家13代当主・直弼(なおすけ)の甲冑と、初代直政(なおまさ)から2代直孝(なおたか)、3代直澄(なおすみ)へと受け継がれた名刀を取り上げ、「井伊の赤備え」と井伊家伝来の刀剣について紹介します。

Q.What is an online experience tour?

A. Online experiences and tours are virtual activities that can be enjoyed on the Internet from your home or anywhere using your computer or smartphone.
