You can experience laser engraving at the Azumino Wooden Chopsticks Fab Factory. ★Please make a reservation by phone on the day or if you are alone. Up to 15 people can experience the experience in the workshop. The experience will be held in a home workshop. When you enter the room, the scent of wood fills the air... that alone will relax your mind! Concentrating on making chopsticks will refresh your mind and body! This is an experience that satisfies all five senses with the fresh air, water, and light of Azumino. If you can draw, you can do it, so even small children can experience it. Your child's drawings and letters can be engraved as they are, so if you create one every year on their birthday, it will be a memento of their growth! Draw a rough sketch with a pencil, thicken it with a marker, and then engrave it with a laser engraving machine to turn it into an original piece! A memento of your trip! You can also create a commemorative item for someone important to you!

This authentic handmade experience is available. The chopsticks are painted for long-lasting use! Experience something you won't find anywhere else in Japan! Children from the third grade of elementary school can participate! (For elementary school students, cypress is recommended; mountain cherry wood is hard and often impossible to shave. Parents should supervise younger children.) Planing a block of lumber?! Sounds daunting, but our craftsmen will carefully teach you how to use the plane. We've been making chopsticks for 13 years. We've had over 13,000 people make chopsticks. Among those 10,000, there are even famous celebrities and TV announcers! (*^-^*) ~ What to expect ~ 1. "Decide on the wood and length." Decide on the chopstick material and length. 2. "Explanation of the process ~ Begin with instruction on how to use the plane." Planes vary by user! The time it takes to shave varies depending on the individual's approach. Therefore, the duration of the chopstick-making experience will vary for each customer! 3. Step 1. Cut to a comfortable thickness. 2. Scrape the corners. 3. Polish with sandpaper. 4. Add a name with a hot-ink pen. 5. Paint the glass. 6. You can take your chopsticks home. They can be used after 20 days of drying.
