Atami Plum Garden Momiji Festival and Japan-Korea Gourmet Fair 2024, a collaboration between the latest autumn leaves and early-blooming plums in Japan, will be held. You can rent a folding electric cart to easily navigate the Atami Plum Garden, which has many slopes. Anyone who understands how to operate it and can drive it can use it without age restrictions. There are about 380 maple trees in the garden, and due to the warm climate, they turn color every year from late November to December, so they are also known as the "latest autumn leaves in Japan." The early-blooming plums start blooming around mid-November, so it's an Instagram spot where you can see the autumn leaves and plums at the same time! During the Momiji Festival, there will be a foot bath, a photo contest, jazz performances, lighting up, and a wild grass moss ball making experience workshop. In addition, the "Japan-Korea Gourmet Fair 2024" will be held for a limited time only on November 16th and 17th at the Korean Garden on the Hilltop, where there will be a corner offering food specialties from all over Korea, a corner where you can experience making kimchi, a traditional costume experience and photo session, and a corner where you can enjoy Japanese and Korean entertainment. In addition, at the Kimchi Grand Prix, where authentic Korean restaurants participate to decide the kimchi king, you can sample authentic kimchi. This is a fascinating event for Korea lovers and kimchi connoisseurs.

In this plan, you can enjoy making tea dumplings and taking a walk in the tea plantation♪ From late September to early October, you can also try tea picking! Limited to 1 group per day ♪ Enjoy a tea-filled tea experience in Kakegawa, one of Japan's leading green tea production areas, dyed in autumn colors! Local tea farmers will enjoy making tea dumplings using tea leaves grown with great care by the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System "Chagusaba Farming". It is a plan that you can enjoy the scenery unique to Shizuoka, including the tea plantation that spreads all over.

At "Experience-based traditional Japanese inn Tabinosha," we offer you a mountain village experience that is unique to Shizuoka throughout the four seasons! Located in the northeastern part of Kakegawa City, one of the leading tea producing areas in Shizuoka, this area is loved by locals as the mountain of the tea characters, and the tea plantations spread across the large hills at the foot of Awa-ga-take, a mountain that has been certified as a World Agricultural Heritage site, and high-quality tea has been produced for over 150 years using the Chagusaba farming method. In this plan, you will enjoy a tea picking experience in the tea fields that the tea producers have carefully cultivated. The first tea is picked from late April to mid-May, the second tea is picked in June, and the fourth tea is picked from late September to early October, which are the tea seasons for the producers, so you can enjoy tea picking according to the season. In addition, from late April to early November, you can enjoy tea picking even outside of the tea season, depending on the growth of the tea leaves. However, from late autumn to winter, until around mid-April when the tea season begins, there are no tea leaves to pick, so you will have to roll the tea using tea leaves that you have prepared in advance. Even in that case, we will still guide you to the tea fields and show you the state of the tea buds and how to make tea. You will try your hand at making kettle-fried tea using the tea leaves you picked, by heating, frying and rolling them in an iron pot. Let's make your own delicious, one-of-a-kind original tea!
