This is a pearl extraction experience at a pearl farm in Ise-Shima, the birthplace of pearl farming. We only have Akoya oysters with large pearls of 7.5mm or more! You can take the pearls home as they are. You can also use the pearls to make accessories. Make your own accessories such as pendants, earrings, rings, brooches, tie pins, straps, etc. (Additional fees apply) ~Experience flow~ ① Gathering / Reception ② Explanation ③ Pearl extraction experience ・You can take a photo with a net containing a large Akoya oyster. ・Choose your favorite Akoya oyster from the net and take out the pearl. ・Polish the pearl with salt and cloth. ④If you would like to make accessories, you can choose the metal fittings. (Additional fee applies) ・Staff will make holes in the pearls. If you are an upper elementary school student and would like to do so, you will be able to experience gluing. ・It takes about 15 minutes to glue the pearls to the metal fittings, so you can use that waiting time to feed your pet fish. ⑤It takes about 15 minutes from gluing to completion! You can take it home as it is.

This is a pearl extraction and strap making experience at a pearl farm in Ise-Shima, the birthplace of pearl farming. Enjoy taking out the pearls to see what kind of pearls will come out! Pearls come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. You can take out Akoya pearls with a diameter of 6 mm, and if you are lucky, 8 mm in diameter! Let's make your own strap with pearls using the pearls you took out ♪ ~ Flow of the experience ~ 1) Gathering and reception 2) Explanation 3) Pearl extraction experience - You will watch a DVD that explains the process of making pearls.・You will be asked to take a commemorative photo on the raft holding a net containing pearl oysters (in case of rain, the photo will be taken indoors).・Choose your favorite pearl oyster from the net.・Pearls will be extracted from Akoya oysters. - Polish the pearls with salt and cloth.
