This is a special experience of walking along a beautiful clear stream flowing from the vast beech forest of the Shirakami-Sanchi World Heritage Site. It will be held in the Fujikoto River in Akita Prefecture. The river is so clean that you can see the bottom. You will not meet anyone else during the trek. You can enjoy a sense of privacy. You may encounter birds and fish. A guide will accompany you, so even if you are new to river trekking, you can feel at ease. If it gets hot, you can swim or jump in. Lunch (included in the tour price) is a bento box made with locally grown rice and wild vegetables. You will eat it by the side of the clear stream. It is a day where you can feel the untouched nature with your whole body. On rainy days, you can change to Shirakami Forest trekking. Snow is fun! Experience making mini kamakura with high-quality snow in Yokote! You can also play in the snow if you wish. Anyone, such as families with children or those who want to experience the snow, can participate. Kamakura, a winter tradition in Akita Prefecture. In Yokote, as a small New Year's event to worship the water god, the "Yokote Snow Festival" is held on February 15th and 16th every year with a history of about 450 years, and there are about 100 kamakura with a height of about 3m throughout the city. It is famous for being made. In addition, about 2,000 "mini kamakura" are made by local people and children every year at the Yokote Minami Elementary School playground and the venue of Janosakigawara, and candles are lit inside at night. Let's make only one original mini kamakura in the world with the snow on the side of the heavy snowfall area, which is the home of such kamakura.
