MALIBU in Katsuura used to host the World Surfing Championships. Malibu is one of the birthplaces of Japanese surfing. However, most of the waves are suitable for beginner surfers. The waves are powerful and easy to ride, so the takeoff rate (standing on the board) is 100%. A former tour pro surfer and lesson professional who grew up in Katsuura provides easy-to-understand instruction. Please leave your knowledge of the sea and how to enjoy it to us. Local surfers will guide and teach beginners to advanced surfers! This is a popular course at our shop, pastasurf, and is suitable for even small children. Enjoy a surfing experience and surfing lesson at Taito Beach, located at the southernmost tip of Kujukuri in Chiba Prefecture, where the waves are relatively calm. Everyone from small children (ages 5 and up) to seniors, even the whole family, can enjoy this at their own pace. It is suitable for those who are surfing for the first time, or those who have tried surfing 1-2 times. (Others are also welcome, but the content will be with those experiencing surfing for the first time.) Families are welcome, and pets are also welcome.
