Shiromaru in Okutama is located in a national park that can be accessed from Tokyo in two and a half hours by train. You can rent canoes on the magnificent natural lake. The tidal flats of Koajiro no Mori, the innermost part, are as quiet as a lake. You will be healed by the fluctuation of water and the deep forest.
