Many people are surprised by the physical strain of typical snowshoe tours. We wondered if there was a more casual and accessible way to experience a snowy forest. With that in mind, we developed a plan that offers a short but "authentic snowy forest experience" (although that may sound a bit exaggerated, lol), with no climbing, a physically less strenuous experience, and a stroll-like feel. The tour is quite leisurely, taking place in under 1.5 hours (though fast adults can complete it in about an hour). While the tour is stroll-like in duration and distance, you'll still experience a realistic and authentic forest. While taking photos and other activities, we hope you enjoy a short trek through a genuine snowy forest. *Please note* You'll be walking in snow, so please wear shoes suitable for walking in snow. (You can't walk in snow in regular shoes) I think the easiest way to move around is with ski wear and rubber boots (see photos of participants). Rubber boots that keep your toes warm (you can wear them as they are, but it will be more comfortable if you put in warm insoles, even simple ones sold at 100 yen stores. It is also better if the boots are long so that snow doesn't get in. If the snow is very deep, we will rent snowshoes for free, so I think it would be best to participate in snow boots or rubber boots.) Also, if you have your own snowshoes or poles, it will be "even more" comfortable if you bring them. (Of course, it's okay if you don't have them.)

It is a snowshoe trekking that aims at Mt.Shimagare in Kita Yatsugatake at an altitude of 2400m. A spectacular view awaits you at the summit! You can also enjoy fresh snow downhill with snowshoes. In terms of mountain climbing in summer, it is a course for beginners, but in winter, the level rises a little, and it is a course for beginners to intermediate mountaineers and beginners to beginners in winter. The walking distance of this course is about 5km, and the altitude difference is about 270m. Free rental of lunch time & hammock with setting up a simple tent. *From 2020, we have stopped providing food and drinks that involve cooking as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus, but we will provide thermal insulation jars and outdoor food for lunch.

We will visit a mysterious rain pond nestled quietly in the depths of the northern Yatsugatake forest. This course is for beginners to intermediate climbers and beginners to beginners in snowy mountains. Please experience the beauty of the snowy mountains! Basically, both round trips are easy trekking using ropeways. Hammock free rental & photo data included. The walking distance of this course is about 5km, and the altitude difference is about 180m. * Since 2020, we have stopped providing food and drinks that accompany cooking as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus. Currently, we offer outdoor foods that can be made just by adding hot water and lunch jars for keeping warm.

Sunrise snow trekking tour 360 degree superb view. Aiming at the top of the mountain, we walk toward the sunrise. Would you like to witness the big and bright morning sun on the top of Mt. Kuruma?
