[January to March] Snow trekking to the magnificent ice waterfall in Zao, Yamagata. Every winter, the entire huge waterfall freezes, creating an ice waterfall about 30 meters high and several tens of meters wide. Its power cannot be conveyed in a photo. A world of ice spreads out like a movie. On the route, you can also see large ice trees called monsters. From the end of the lift, you will mainly wear crampons and head downhill to the ice waterfall. Once you arrive safely at Senninzawa Ice Garden, it's time for a photo shoot and a break in front of the frozen waterfall. You can fully enjoy the mysterious world of ice. In the second half, you will climb back up the steep slope and change into snowshoes. You can walk on the fluffy new snow or slide on your buttocks.
