It is a canoe experience of about 9 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Hosooka Station. This course starts from Lake Toro and goes down to Hosooka Canoe Port. (If you are late, please contact us.) When we gather, we will park your car at the nearby Hosooka Canoe Port and drive to Toro Station. (Reception will be done inside the train) 8:20 Arrive at JR Senmo Line Toro Station When you arrive at Toro Station, go to the toilet and move to the starting point, Lake Toro. 8:40 Canoe preparation, safety talk When you arrive at Lake Toro, prepare for canoeing and give a safety explanation for canoeing. 8:50 Departure! When you're ready, let's go! If you wish, we will also take a commemorative photo here during the experience. 10:20 Arrival at Hosooka Canoe Port! Canoe experience for about 1 hour and a half. Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido, is a plan where you can fully enjoy the earliest autumn colors in Japan, which is said to be the garden of the gods. Autumn leaves start from the upper ridge and gradually descend to the foot of the mountain, so you can enjoy the contrast between the volcanic wildness of Mt. Asahidake and the autumn leaves spreading at the foot of the mountain. The Asahidake Ropeway is the only ropeway in Japan that operates beyond the forest limits. If you take the 10-minute ropeway and get off at Sugatami Station, there is a walking course where you can easily enjoy the scenery and alpine plants even if you do not have physical strength or knowledge of mountain climbing, and we recommend the Sugatami Pond Tour Course. Higashikawa Town, where Asahidake is located, is dotted with many cafes that look great on Instagram. You can also take a rest at your favorite cafe after getting tired from the autumn leaves tour.
