A riding club at the foot of Mt. Daisen, a national park located in the west of Tottori Prefecture. You can see it on your right as you go up the Mt. Daisen Tourist Road (Prefectural Route 24). Many retired horses live here. Be soothed by the beauty and cuteness of the thoroughbreds. The admission fee includes horse treats (pellets, hay cubes), so you can also feed them. As you observe the horses, you will see their individual personalities. Find your favorite one. Mount Daisen, Hoki, is a mountain of mountain worship. Long ago, when it was called Mount Okami, only select ascetics could summit it once a year on a full moon night. They would bring back holy water and medicinal herbs for a religious ritual, and it was also a place for the Shugendo practice known as Misen Zenjo. This full-moon night luminous climb seeks to replicate this experience in modern times. For the 2025 season, the climb will be held during the full moons of July, August, and September. Due to guide availability, the August climb will coincide with a meteor shower rather than the full moon. The 2026 climb is scheduled for August. The dates will be updated as soon as they are confirmed. The tour will be canceled in the event of rain or typhoons. Since it is held on a holiday or during the summer vacation, children in the third grade and above are also welcome. Come enjoy a wonderful summer experience with your family.
