Let's search for and catch underwater creatures that you can't usually see in the river near the popular ballpark, S-Con Field! The Watatsu River is a first-class river with a length of 14.2 kilometers that originates in Kamiwatatsu, Kitahiroshima City, and flows into the Chitose River. The town of Kitahiroshima began in 1884 when 25 households and 103 people who moved from Hiroshima Prefecture settled along this river. If you rummage through the bushes with a dip net, you will see various aquatic creatures. The river is just under 15 kilometers long, but you will be interested in the diverse creatures. Depending on the season, there will be guides from students studying aquatic life at a vocational school, so you can ask them about various things. You can learn about the rich water environment of Kitahiroshima and the Ishikari region, and our water activities can be used as a project for elementary school students' independent research or as a way to enjoy playing safely near the water.

Why not try searching for aquatic creatures in the Yasuharu River, which flows through the Shinkotoni district in the northern part of Sapporo? It's a beautiful stream just under 5 kilometers long, and the creatures that live there vary depending on the location, with many different aquatic creatures making an appearance. Search and catch underwater creatures that you normally can't see! You might even come across sticklebacks, loaches, bitterlings, marsh gnats, and water sticklebacks! Fun for both adults and children!

This half-day experience plan is available only on weekdays and during the summer vacation period, and is based on the concept of fishing while using the fishing methods that the guide is good at. I think the best part of fishing is the excitement of casting the line to lure the fish, the feeling of resistance when you pull it, the thrill of setting the hook, and the sense of accomplishment when you catch a fish. However, if you try to do it by imitating what you see in the first introduction, you will often end up just waiting...I was one of those people, and now I work as a guide and write the explanations. I can understand how you feel, as you may feel hesitant to ask acquaintances or friends who know something, but you may also feel hesitant to try fishing alone. You may also have to think about what to do with the fish you catch. This plan is designed to be a prologue to your first fishing experience. Basically, there will be no other customers mixed in, so you can enjoy it without any hesitation. We will help you to fully enjoy the five and sixth senses you acquire through fishing, and lead you to the next step. We will cover the basics of fishing equipment, and use tools that are sold at 100 yen shops that everyone knows. Once you know what equipment you need, you can get everything you need on your own. We can also provide equipment if you wish. The trip takes place near Ishikari Bay New Port, close to Sapporo. Each guide has their own specialty, but we hope that you will enjoy the joy of catching a fish no matter what method you use. There are also famous restaurants nearby, such as Costco Ishikari, Sato Suisan Salmon Factory, and Ramen Shingen, so there is plenty to enjoy after fishing.
