[Ishigaki Island Long-legged Shrimp Fishing & Light Trekking] Duration: Approximately 3 hours. Held twice a day, in the morning and afternoon. A half-day long-legged shrimp fishing & trekking tour that can be enjoyed on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Beginners are welcome, and rental equipment is included! No special preparation is required. Since it is a mountain tour, it can be held even if the sea is rough with strong winds! Those who have suddenly changed their plans are also welcome. ・Arakawa Falls on the northwest side of Ishigaki Island. There are two waterfalls, one upstream and one downstream. When you think of waterfalls, you think of Iriomote Island. In fact, there is a magnificent waterfall on Ishigaki Island as well. While trekking to this waterfall full of negative ions, you will climb and fish for long-legged shrimp. ・The main target is the [Konjin Long-legged Shrimp], the largest long-legged shrimp in Japan, and is only found in Okinawa and the Yaeyama Islands. It is a large species with a body length of over 15 cm, and some that can exceed 30 cm when stretched out. Written in kanji, it is called "Konjin Tenagaebi" (golden god long-legged shrimp). The shrimp's body is ochre-colored, which is where the name comes from. Our experienced staff will carefully teach you how to fish and how to catch them easily. If you are not good at fishing, our staff will help you, so please feel free to ask. Summer river play enjoyment plan! "River hunting kappa tour"! 1DAY menu with lunch! Spend the hot summer cool while enjoying various activities in the riverbank. First of all, after listening to the explanation about safety in the river, experience "rafting" down the main stream of the Tokachi River by a rubber boat. After that, you can spend the day playing in the waterfall, swimming in the river, observing the water with box glasses, fishing, playing in a small inflatable raft, and so on. For lunch, the participants cooperate to cook rice using a bonfire and make curry rice etc. so that everyone can enjoy it. Of course, you can also bake the fish you catch on a bonfire and eat it.
