For families, how about a 3-hour fishing tour from early morning, afternoon, or evening when you are staying in the Fuji Five Lakes area? We also offer one-day sightseeing guides, skiing and snowboarding lessons, and Jukai and cave tours. This is a nature experience tour around Mt. Fuji, and is basically an experiential weekend plan for elementary school students and pre-schoolers who want to enjoy the great outdoors around Fuji. Girls can also participate as children. We look forward to your participation as a parent and child. Please arrive at Lake Motosu by 8:00 a.m. Fishing is best in the morning. In the summer, it is also possible to catch them in the evening. They also have the habit of eating stink bugs and cicadas. On the day, we will meet at Lake Motosu and start fishing for rainbow trout early in the morning at Lake Motosu. The theme is fish, animals, and insects in the great outdoors. We will give a fishing lecture in the morning and aim for native rainbow trout. While you are not catching any fish, we will plan various things to enjoy, such as rummaging around for Yoshinobori and catching insects (there are beautiful stink bugs), observing wild birds, and looking for driftwood. Please take this opportunity to enjoy rainbow trout fishing. Experience a pull that is far superior to that of trout caught at managed fishing areas. You can take home up to 10 fish you catch. Please bring ice in a cooler box. It is also convenient to bring a folding chair. The best time to fish is in winter, when you can fish in shallow waters, and in spring and autumn, you can fish a little deeper, and in summer, you can cast from the cliff and search for areas around 30 to 50 meters. So, this is a fishing that can be done all season, but the fish in North America are lively and delicious in the cold. Please purchase a fishing ticket under the supervision of the Lake Motosu Fisheries Cooperative Association. It costs 1,000 yen for adults. Also, I have been living here for 30 years. I have a villa near Mt. Fuji at 1,200 meters, so please contact me for sightseeing, meals, plans, etc. Recommended places are Fujinomiya Yakisoba, Mume-san Fujiyoshida Udon, Takegawa Hoto, Kosaku Hills Burger, Hand-made Soba at Lake Kawaguchi Oshino Hakkai, and Ikemoto Chaya Sightseeing, which has a Fuji Trout Farm, feeding, and managed fishing area. Why not create some special memories during your trip? We offer a program where you can casually experience the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy in the Kawaguchiko area at the foot of Mt. Fuji! Calligraphy is the artistic expression of characters using brush, ink, and paper. Calligraphy is not just the art of writing beautiful characters; it is also a means of self-expression. It is believed that the writer's spirituality and emotions are conveyed through the brushstrokes, ink shading, and character placement. It is a practice that has become a part of everyday life, even for first-timers. This experience of writing your name or favorite phrase in kanji using brush and ink is enjoyable even for beginners. A kind instructor will carefully teach you everything from how to hold the brush, so it is enjoyable for everyone, from children to adults. In a quiet, Japanese-style space, surrounded by the aroma of ink, you can calm your mind and spend time writing characters, almost like meditation. This experience is popular with adults, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in it. You can take your completed work home with you, making it a wonderful, one-of-a-kind souvenir! What's more, the experience location is very close to a spectacular view spot of Mt. Fuji. It's a perfect place to stop by in between sightseeing. We provide transportation support (Kawaguchiko, Fujiyoshida, Oshino, Lake Yamanaka). Please feel free to contact us.

At Fujiya, our local cooking experience class, you can make Oshino Hakkai Soba, a Yamanashi Prefecture specialty! ☆★About Fujiya☆★Nice to meet you! Located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, in the Fuji Five Lakes area of Yamanashi Prefecture, we offer hands-on cooking classes where you can learn about Yamanashi's food culture and history, creating a memorable experience for all visitors. Our staff will provide attentive support to ensure that even beginners and children can enjoy the experience. We welcome small groups, such as private trips, as well as group trips like school trips, company trips, and sightseeing tours. Please stop by our restaurant if you're in the Fuji Five Lakes area. Why not create a memorable memory of your trip to Yamanashi Prefecture by making Oshino Hakkai Soba noodles using meltwater from Mt. Fuji? This is a hands-on experience of making a traditional Japanese dish with a long history. Oshino Hakkai is a tourist destination with eight ponds fed by spring water from Mt. Fuji. The spring-fed ponds are highly transparent and have been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous springs, making Oshino Hakkai a popular spot for delicious soba noodles. While soba noodle-making experiences are available throughout Japan, this is the only place where you can enjoy soba noodles made with Mt. Fuji's spring water. Anyone can easily make Oshino Hakkai soba. This experience is suitable for beginners, including those with limited cooking experience, small children, and those who have never made soba before. Many of our past guests have booked with groups of family and friends, and the more people there, the more fun it becomes. The extraordinary experience of making noodles is highly enjoyable for both children and adults. We also offer a dyeing experience, where you can try traditional Japanese dyeing techniques using natural materials. This experience can be combined with the hoto experience. Each step of the dyeing experience is carefully explained, making it a safe and enjoyable experience for those new to dyeing and those bringing children. The natural feel of natural materials and the craftsmanship of your own hands create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆Recommended for◆ Those who want to try famous Yamanashi Prefecture dishes Those who want to make Yamanashi Prefecture's local dishes Those looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka or Lake Kawaguchi Those who want to experience cooking with their children Those looking for an experience program Those who are having trouble sightseeing on rainy days Those looking for sightseeing in English
Really enjoyed the soba making class, the instructions were shown to me visually. My sensei tried her best to explain in English which I appreciated as well as teach Japanese words. At the end I managed to eat my soba according to my taste. It was presented as cold dipping noodles. Enjoyed the session, my sensei was lovely and will come again! Good for solo travellers.

At the local cooking experience class [Fujiya], we offer a hands-on experience of making "Yoshida Udon", a specialty of Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture! ☆★Introducing Fujiya☆★Nice to meet you. Our restaurant is located in Fuji Kawaguchiko Town, located in the Fuji Five Lakes area of Yamanashi Prefecture, and is holding a hands-on class where everyone can make and enjoy Yamanashi's local cuisine. We are open every day with the hope that tourists visiting Yamanashi will learn about Yamanashi's food culture and history, and that it will be one of the memories of their trip to Yamanashi. Our staff will carefully support you so that even beginners in cooking and small children can enjoy participating. We are used by many customers not only for small groups such as private trips, but also for group trips such as school trips, company trips, and sightseeing tours. Please come visit our store when you are in the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introducing Yoshida's udon making experience☆★Yoshida's udon is a local dish of udon that is loved around Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is an unusual type of udon that is characterized by its hard and chewy noodles and toppings such as horse meat and cabbage. It has also been selected as one of the ``Top 100 Local Dishes from Rural Areas, Mountains, and Fishing Villages,'' selected from among the local flavors of each region. Yoshida's udon noodles are characterized by thick and chewy noodles, toppings made with horse meat and cabbage, and a soup made with miso and soy sauce. This is the only place in Japan where you can eat it with a spiciness called suridane. Yoshida's udon was originally a home-cooked dish, so each restaurant has its own characteristics. For example, some restaurants use beef or horse meat, and the sides vary in hardness and length. Although there are general rules, there are no clear rules, so the freedom of making them may also be a characteristic of Yoshida's udon. In this plan, customers will make udon noodles from powder. Enjoy with hot soup and toppings such as cabbage, fried tofu, and wakame. The content is quite extensive, so please come hungry. Our store also offers a dyeing experience where you can experience traditional Japanese dyeing techniques using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hotou experience. During the dyeing experience, we will explain each step in detail, so even those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with confidence. The natural feel of natural materials and the fact that you make it with your own hands create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆ Recommended for the following people ◆ Those who want to try Yamanashi Prefecture's famous dishes Those who want to try making Yamanashi Prefecture's local cuisine Those who are looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi Those who want to experience cooking with their parents and children Plan an experience For those who are having trouble sightseeing on a rainy day Those looking for sightseeing with English support *Due to our reservation system, all reservations are by request, but in most cases You can make a reservation at your desired time. ・In fact, 95% of participants are beginners. Popular with people with dogs! Casual clothing OK! The good thing about kayaking is that anyone can easily paddle. The kayaks we use are stable "leisure kayaks" suitable for beginners, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind. "What is Lake Saiko?" ・Long ago, most of the huge lake was filled by lava flows from Mt. Fuji. Although it is located just west of the popular tourist destination Lake Kawaguchi, there are few tourists and artificial objects, and it is a very quiet and mysterious lake rich in nature. Facing the dynamically shaped "lava walls" and the "Aokigahara Jukai" that covers the southwest coast, the "Jukai Cruising" where you can enjoy kayaking while looking at the Jukai is popular. It is also known as the "Jukai Jungle Cruise". It is also a beautiful lake where the only "Kunimasu" live in Japan. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the lake with the most guided elements among the Fuji Five Lakes. What is the appeal of Lake Saiko? Unlike Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka, engine boats, power boats, and sightseeing boats are prohibited, so there are no artificial waves and it is calm. It can be enjoyed safely by beginners, those with children, and those with dogs. It is a lake right next to Lake Kawaguchi, so it is easy to access from your accommodation (15 minutes by car from Kawaguchiko Station). The water is clean and the environment is very quiet. Facing the sea of trees, you can see and touch the impressive lava belt that formed the sea of trees up close. There are many campsites around the lakeside, so you can join a tour while camping. It is the only lake in Japan where "Kunimasu" live. Depending on the course and the number of participants on the day, you can see Mt. Fuji. Cruise around Lake Saiko with a guide and enjoy the fun of kayaking, as well as the nature and sights of Lake Saiko. Seasonal characteristics: Spring The cold season is over, and the water temperature is still cold, but it is a comfortable season during the day. It is the season when it is easy to see Mt. Fuji covered in snow, so we often go on Mt. Fuji observation cruises. ・Summer Lake Saiko, located at an altitude of about 900 meters, is the best summer resort! Summer is the season for swimming in the lake! You can splash each other with water guns and jump into the water from a kayak! ・Autumn The temperature gradually drops and in early November, you can go on a cruise to see the autumn leaves. The mountains around Lake Saiko are covered with broadleaf forests, and the contrast between the green of Aokigahara Jukai and the autumn leaves of the surrounding mountains is amazing. ・Winter It is a cold season, but the charm of kayaking is that you can enjoy it if you take measures against the cold. You can also see Mt. Fuji covered in snow. [Time characteristics] ・9:30am and up This is the time when the wind starts to blow a little, but the conditions are easy to paddle, making it the most popular plan. The tour ends at 11:30am, so you can make it in time for lunch at a nearby store. ☆ Most popular! ・1pm and up This is the time when the wind is likely to blow, but it is our second most popular time, which is also convenient in terms of time. Many customers join before checking in at their accommodation. We are a small tour company, but we look forward to seeing you!

About 17km of cycling along the lake You won't get bored because there are so many nice shops. If you run while detouring, "Is that the end?" You can have a good time as if you are not satisfied! If you have a guide for the first sports bike, you are safe! Moreover, since the difference in elevation is small on the lakeside road, Recommended for those who are not confident in their physical fitness.
