The shop name "Yamaju" is derived from the fact that the first generation was called "Kamiyama no Shigebei" and was popular. At the time of its founding, it ran a bathhouse called "Yuya Chojuyu," which was a popular place to soak in hot water, eat leisurely, and drink alcohol. Empty-handed is OK. No need to prepare anything. First, you will change into a kimono. Dressing and simple hair setting will be done here. We also have bags, sandals, and tabi that match your kimono. You will wear a kimono and enjoy lunch and walking around the city. As an option, it is also possible to request a photo shoot by a professional photographer or a professional hair and makeup artist. Rickshaw rides around the city are also wonderful (rickshaws run from April to October).
