Experience the beauty and history of traditional Japanese paper that is over a thousand years old! A workshop where you can experience Japanese paper making. Starting with an explanation of washi making, you can experience how traditional washi is made from wood. In the workshop, we will make postcards with two different designs, Falling Water Paper, and A5 size paper. While the washi is drying, we will offer Japanese sweets along with a unique "washi tea". The mascot cat “Kami” will always welcome you at the shop! ~Procedure of the experience~ ① Briefly explain the flow of the workshop (5 minutes) We will briefly explain the raw materials for washi paper. ②Experience the process of making washi paper, including ``peeling'' the outer layer of the mulberry tree and ``beating'' the wood fibers.
