<About Forest Adventure Ritto> Forest Adventure Ritto is located in the Satoyama area of Shiga Prefecture, where rich nature, historic temples, activities and sports gather. It is easily accessible from both the Meishin and Shin-Meishin Expressways, and you can come for a day trip from Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya. There is a dynamic "Adventure Course" and a "Canopy Course" that even preschoolers can experience, so families, groups, children and adults can enjoy it seriously! "It was better than I expected!" [Adventure Course] A dynamic course that makes use of the height of the trees and the characteristics of the terrain. The course, which consists of 4 sites and 30 activities, includes a suspension bridge that sways widely from side to side and a single-plank bridge that does not stop once it starts moving, and is sure to make even adults scream! The "Zip Slide" that slides 100m down from a height of 15m above the trees is exhilarating! ▼Time required▼Time required: Approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours (one lap of the course)▼Conditions for use▼For people aged 10 and over, or people over 140cm tall and weighing less than 110kg. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a guardian over 18 or a person with equivalent qualifications. A very popular activity! Experience a SUP (stand up paddle board) cruise on Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan. The destination is the large torii gate of Shirahige Shrine on the lake. Features: You can see the large torii gate of Shirahige Shrine up close. You can take a commemorative photo with the large torii gate in the background. The experience lasts a long time! You can ride the SUP firmly. The water is crystal clear and clean. You can enjoy it because there is a destination. There are not many SUP spots that meet such perfect conditions! And above all, it is a cruise of just under 1.5 kilometers one way, aiming for the large torii gate of Shirahige Shrine that stands tall on the lake!
