This special guided tour visits Ishiyama-dera Temple, which is associated with Murasaki Shikibu, the protagonist of this year's taiga drama, and the "To You, Shining Lake Biwa Otsu Taiga Drama Museum." A local volunteer guide will provide a detailed tour of the highlights of Ishiyama-dera Temple and the drama museum. You can also enjoy the Seta River and Lake Biwa River Cruise, which gives you a sense of the history of the Ishiyama pilgrimage that Murasaki Shikibu experienced. This cruise departs from in front of the Ishiyama-dera temple gate, and offers a special experience of being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Murasaki Shikibu would have seen from the boat. Sports bike (cross bike) rental. Depending on your preference, enjoy a self-guided cycling tour around Lake Biwa, where you can feel nature, or around Otsu City, which is full of historical landmarks. We rent authentic cross bikes that allow you to enjoy long-distance cycling, and are well-maintained by professional mechanics so you can ride with confidence. ①Rental (from 9:00): After reception, we will explain how to operate the bicycle. You can paint an original raccoon (approximately 20cm tall) from Ogoya with underglaze paint. Why not try making your own large raccoon figurine? It will take about 1.5 months to finish firing.

The tent sauna is set up on the beach in front of Lake Biwa, and you can jump into Japan's best cold water bath to cool down your heated body in an instant! Depending on your preference, the inside of the tent is a full-fledged high-temperature tent sauna, even though it is outdoors and the temperature is 80℃ to 110℃. The refreshing feeling of jumping into Lake Biwa is addictive fun!
