It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. The scenery that changes according to the season, and the Yezo deer, white-tailed eagles, and red-crowned cranes that you can meet if your timing and luck are good are also highlights. Of course, the guide will ride with you, so please leave the operation of the canoe to us. This course runs through the Kushiro Marshland, and you'll start from Lake Toro and paddle leisurely along the wide, calm river to Hosooka Station, feeling the breeze blowing through the marsh. You won't get wet, so just wear comfortable clothing that suits the weather. If you're short on time, we recommend the short course from Hosooka Station to Iwaboki Water Gate. *This is the standard course.

This is a tour where you can enjoy fishing while going down the river on a rafting boat. Please try to imagine. Enjoy the exhilarating feeling of riding a raft down the Kushiro River surrounded by magnificent nature. And a powerful fight with a big fish. Traditional mountain stream fishing involves walking along steep mountain paths and making it difficult to reach the fishing spot. However, with a raft boat fishing tour, you don't have to worry about that. We will guide you to the best fishing spots while traveling comfortably on a raft boat. The Kushiro River is one of Japan's best fishing spots, home to many big fish such as rainbow trout, Japanese ito, American trout, and Yamame trout. At points that can only be accessed by raft boat, a once-in-a-lifetime encounter may be waiting for you. You can enjoy the magnificent nature of Kushiro Marsh and the beautiful scenery of each season on a leisurely raft boat.

A special experience of leisurely canoeing through the Kushiro Marsh, a vast expanse of Hokkaido's natural beauty. Starting from Hosooka Canoe Port, you will slowly descend to Iwaboki Water Gate in about two hours. A guide will accompany you, so even beginners can participate with peace of mind. As the canoe glides across the water, you may encounter wild animals such as red-crowned cranes, Ezo deer, and sometimes even kingfishers. Let yourself go with the gentle flow of the Kushiro River and fully enjoy the beauty of nature.

We will observe red-crowned cranes at feeding stations in Tsurui Village. In addition, we will introduce you to Tsurui Village and other wonderful winter scenery tailored to your time.
