You can get a glimpse of everyday life in Okinawa, with children playing on the spacious lawn. ③ Mekaru You can see a large group of grave sites dating back to the Okinawa Gusuku period, the Ryukyu Kingdom period, and the Meiji period. The largest tortoiseshell tortoise tomb, which was introduced from China, is a sight to behold with its unique design. ④ Urasoe City Nakama This is a defense facility built by the Japanese military during World War II. You can discover its historical value and magnificent scenery. ⑤Kyozuka, Urasoe City This was a post road from Shuri Castle during the Ryukyu Kingdom era, and was the main road at the time that continued all the way to northern Okinawa Prefecture.
