A new parent-child food education experience ★ ATSUKU has partnered with Kaiyu-tai to offer a family-specific boat fishing experience activity plan!! ☆ Introducing the boat fishing experience ☆ ① Board a large boat and head out to sea to fish! This event will focus on catching horse mackerel!! While also targeting rockfish and rockfish, depending on the conditions, we will also try our hand at live bait fishing, targeting sharks, flounders, red sea bream, and yellowtail amberjack. Live bait fishing is a type of fishing where you attach a large hook to the horse mackerel you catch and aim for a big one. If you catch a big fish, staff will fillet it and serve it to you. There are also many other fish you can catch. Here are some of the fish that have been successfully caught in previous events: Bottom Fish: "Rockfish," "Gurnard," "Flounder," "Scorpionfish," "Starry Houndfish," "Goby," "Sillago," "Red Whiting," "Red-spotted Tigerfish," "Stingray." Powerful Fish: "Red Sea Bream," "Black Porgy," "Japanese Spanish Mackerel," "Chub Mackerel," "Rockfish," "Hairless Hairtail." Poisonous Fish: "Leaf Scorpionfish," "Tiger Pufferfish," "Black Mackerel Pufferfish," "White Mackerel Pufferfish," "Small Mackerel Pufferfish" (These fish will likely contain poison in some part of their body, so they will be returned to the sea.) ② Fillet and Eat the Fish You Catch! Take the fish you caught back to the kitchen and eat it. A professional fish filleter will fillet it, so everyone can enjoy it together. The menu changes depending on the day of the event, but it includes dishes like "Namero (fish stew), Fried Horse Mackerel, Sashimi, Grilled Sashimi, and Hot Pot!" ★Don't want to fillet it at home? If you're interested, we'll teach you how to remove the head and innards! ③ Beginners and children are welcome! Boat fishing can be a challenging experience for first-timers, but our staff will provide all the necessary equipment for this event. We also offer proactive support to help with any questions or concerns you may have, so we encourage beginners and young children to participate!
