Enjoy tea picking at the foot of Mt. Fuji while overlooking the majestic mountain. After climbing Observation Hill and strolling through the green tea fields, you'll enjoy delicious tea brewed in a teapot and sweets at the tea factory. Search for "Sakurai Seicha Live Camera" [KTV][LIVE]. You can sample other teas and shop for souvenirs at the adjacent shop. Starting around mid-March, you can get a sneak peek at the new tea buds being picked at the House Tea Farm. ~Schedule~ 10:00 AM: Guided tour to the tea plantation (either "Mt. Fuji Tea Park" or "Kansukezaka Tea Farm") for tea picking. Greetings and information. 10:05 AM: Tea picking experience and tea plantation walk. This is an experience program unique to Shizuoka, the tea-producing region, where you can learn about tea from farmers at a tea plantation where high-quality tea is produced using the Chagusaba farming method, a World Agricultural Heritage site, and enjoy a sencha ceremony where you brew delicious tea yourself in a teapot. In addition, this plan will visit the production areas of two of the three major tea brands in Shizuoka, ``Mountain Tea Kawane Tea'' and ``Fukasteamed Tea Kakegawa Tea'', hear from the producers, and have the opportunity to taste and compare teas.
