Please join us for an activity of kayaking around the lake, which has high water quality and is nurtured by beautiful nature. A kayak is a small boat for one or two people that moves forward with a paddle with blades on both ends. It is a water activity that you can enjoy freely controlling because you sit inside the boat and the center of gravity is low and close to the water surface. Since it is an experience in an artificial dam lake, there is little risk of being swept away, and since motorized boats, fishing, and swimming are prohibited at Surikamigawa Dam, you can enjoy kayaking touring with peace of mind. Of course, the guide will teach you how to ride and paddle, and will accompany you during the tour, so even first-timers and children can participate with peace of mind. Enjoy a kayak tour while experiencing nature on the beautiful, calm lake surface, where motorized boats and fishing are prohibited! Instructors (guides) will provide friendly and thorough support, so even beginners can participate with ease and enjoyment. Furthermore, the venue, Surikami River Dam, is equipped with a slope leading down to the lake surface and a floating pier for launching and landing kayaks, so you can enjoy the tour without worrying about getting muddy or sandy feet before or after the start or finish. Kayaking across the vast lake surface of Surikami River Dam like a "taenbo" (water lily), you'll feel close to the water's surface, and the floating sensation will soothe your mind and body. Experience the feeling of exploring upstream from a vast expanse like the ocean, and enjoy a variety of seasonal scenery awaits.
