This is a winter-only whale swim plan, departing from Okinawa's main island by cruise ship. From February 1st to March 10th, winter through spring is the season for humpback whales to mate, give birth, and raise their young. Every year, they travel all the way from Siberia to the warmth of Okinawa's main island. This plan is exclusively available to those with a diving, skin diving, or free diving license. Experience the majesty of nature with your own eyes as you witness these wild whales, only available in winter! 1. To ensure optimal whale viewing, groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Be mindful of your manners underwater to ensure you're swimming close to the whales. 2. We partner with the Whale Swim Association to search for whales. Our whale swims operate with two boats, departing from two areas, allowing for excellent information sharing and increasing the chances of seeing them even under difficult conditions. 3. Enjoy the thrill of a whale-hunting adventure! Everyone searches for the whale's "blow" (a behavior in which a whale raises water from above its head to breathe), which is a sign of a whale, and when they find it, they slowly approach the boat so as not to startle the whale. You can also see dynamic swimming actions such as "breaching" and "peck slap." And above all, the charm of whale swimming on Amami Oshima is that you can "observe whales up close."

[Please read the following information to the end] Only licensed scuba or freediving participants are allowed to participate. This tour is held on a large cruiser. We limit the number of passengers per day to 15-20 to ensure a comfortable trip, even in winter. This is a very popular tour. If you are in a hurry, please contact us by phone. Whale Swim Tour! Observe humpback whales in the Chibishi area along Okinawa's main island. Unlike whale watching, whale swimming is unique in that you observe them directly from the surface. You will observe while floating on the surface wearing a mask, snorkel, fins, and suit. [Please read the following information before booking!] ・Only licensed scuba or freediving participants are allowed to participate. ・The water temperature is low and the wind is strong. ・You must be able to navigate smoothly on a rocking boat and in rough waters. ・You must be able to enter and exit the water yourself, even in rough conditions.・Those who can take all necessary precautions against seasickness. ・Those who can accurately follow the instructions of the captain and staff. ・Tanks will not be used.

★Let's share the excitement of a hot winter with everyone★ In winter, humpback whales come to Okinawa's main island to raise their young! Adults can reach lengths of approximately 13 meters, making them some of the largest creatures on Earth! This is an "exciting experience tour" where you can observe these humpback whales from a boat or from the surface of the water. It's a tour that puts you in contact with nature. In order to minimize stress on the whales during snorkeling, the number of times you can enter the water is limited depending on the ocean conditions and individual whales. However, the excitement of seeing them underwater is so great that it makes all the hard work worthwhile!
はじめてホエールスイムでしたが、クジラをしっかりと見ることができ大満足です。 鯨の親子が本当に間近で見れました。 インストラクターの方たちも皆さんとても優しく愛想が良くて居心地も良かったです。
