The first road bike is safe and fun with lectures and guides! For those who say, "I've always wanted to ride a road bike" or "I'm new so I'd like you to teach me properly". This is a cycling tour that starts with a rental road bike for beginners and inexperienced people. Of course you can bring your own bicycle! Before departure, our certified guides from the Japan Cycling Guide Association will give you a detailed and easy-to-understand lecture on how to get on and off the bike, how to use the gear shift, and the traffic rules for bicycles.

Following the Biwaichi and Shimanami Kaido, you can comfortably ride the Toyama Bay Cycling Course, which has been certified as a national cycle route, while feeling the sea breeze on a road bike or cross bike. On the way, I rode a ferry at the port with a bicycle. You can also enjoy a 10-minute boat trip (free of charge). In addition, Uchikawa, a city of canals called Venice in Japan, has a wonderful atmosphere. Please enjoy the majestic Tateyama mountain range that can be seen from the Amaharashi coast and the delicious Toyama gourmet! The round trip distance is about 50km. This is a distance for those who have a habit of exercising on a regular basis, but it is a perfect course for those who want to enjoy sightseeing and gourmet food while enjoying cycling in a healthy way. In addition, there are rental road bikes and cross bikes (with helmets), so you can participate empty-handed from home and abroad. If you are unfamiliar with a road bike and are unsure about it, practice how to get on and off and change gears before starting. *If you are not comfortable with road bikes, we recommend cross bikes. Required when making a reservation.
梅雨の天気が不安定ななかでの参加でしたが、催行状況等もこまめにご連絡いただき、安心して参加することが出来ました。 本格的なロードバイクに乗るのは初めてでしたが、安全な場所で丁寧にレクチャーしていただき、すぐに乗ることが出来ました。 コースは、本格的なコースで、自分がサイクリストになったような気分を味わえます。途中、渡船に自転車を乗せて移動したり、歴史的街並みを散策したりと観光もでき、地元のおすすめの市場食堂でのお昼ごはんも絶品でした。 交通量の多い道路を走るときは集中力が必要なので、のーんびりぼーっと走るのにはむいてないかもしれません。 時間があれば、全コースを走破してみたいです。
