Okayama The Oyama-do in Manzan City, Maniwa City, begins at Oyama Shinmon. It is about 9km from the village of Gohara and Ensuke to the Yokomakura plateau at Tottori through Hatogara and Jizo Kawakami. The walking path is almost flat and not very difficult. I would like to add a quiz to the commentary at the point, and look back on the situation at that time.

This tour allows you to experience the vast nature of Oasa by riding on roads that you would never ride on in your daily life. This is a cycling tour that truly allows you to experience something out of the ordinary! ・It is a two-hour guided cycling tour, but it is a course that allows you to enjoy the natural beauty of Oasa, such as riding uphill at an altitude of 300m, riding on narrow forest roads where no cars pass, and riding on mountain roads where the sky is wide and open. ・You can enjoy the powerful, easy and comfortable ride that only a sports e-Bike can provide.

This is a half-day sightseeing course that visits the historic Chozenji Temple in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Aki's Little Kyoto. This is a plan that includes a taxi meeting at Takehara Station. The tour runs every Tuesday and Wednesday. After arriving at Chozenji Temple grounds, you will be welcomed with a Nembutsu prayer and a welcome drink by the chief priest, and then tour the Ishiyama Battle Memorial Hall within the grounds with commentary from the chief priest. Here, the flag of the Ishiyama Battle Army and the list of those killed in battle at Fort Amagasaki during the Battle of Ishiyama are preserved. This flag was used during the ``Battle of Ishiyama'' (1570-1580), a battle between Oda Nobunaga and his followers at Honganji Temple. At the request of the third chief priest Enzai, his followers, mainly members of the Fujiwara clan, organized Kihata-gumi, and along with the Mori army, they formed the Kihata-gumi. After setting sail and going to support Ishiyama, we will enjoy copying sutras in a vault overlooking a Japanese garden with the motif of ``heart.'' Afterwards, enjoy copying sutras in front of a beautiful Japanese garden. Sutra copying is a form of meditation. Meditation time will be a time to heal your everyday stress. Please enjoy authentic Chozenji Buddhist cuisine along with the beautiful garden and furniture. This is a special cuisine and space that can only be enjoyed here. ~Flow of the day~ 10:00 Gather at JR Takehara Station. Move to Chozenji. Sutra copying experience and visit to the Ishiyama Battle Memorial Museum, guided lunch at 11:30 AM Shojin Kaiseki cuisine while looking at the magnificent folding screen and Japanese garden After this course, you will have free time. We recommend a free stroll through the Takehara Old Townscape Preservation District. Takehara City (Hiroshima Prefecture) Townscape Preservation District, known as the Japan Heritage ``Takehara Old Townscape Preservation District'' and ``Aki's Little Kyoto'', has been designated as one of the top 100 cityscapes, and was also designated as a Japan Heritage Site in 2019. Ta. Takehara is said to have first been cultivated as a manor land for Shimogamo Shrine in Kyoto during the Heian period under the Private Property Law of Konta Eiten. During the Muromachi period, Mori Motonari's third son Takakage (who was adopted by the Kobayakawa family and became Takakage Kobayakawa) spent his childhood there. Takakage was one of the people who received the ``Three Arrows' teachings'' from Motonari and supported the Mori clan system. Later, in the late Edo period, it developed through salt fields and sake brewing, and it is said that it boasted an 80% share of Hiroshima prefecture's salt production at the time. There are three sake breweries: Taketsuru Sake Brewery, Fujii Sake Brewery, and Nakao Jozo. Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka Whiskey, known as the ``father of Japanese whisky,'' is from Takehara. Taketsuru Sake Brewery, Masataka's birthplace, still operates in the townscape preservation district to this day. Around this time when salt and sake were developing, Rai Sanyo, a Confucian scholar and author of ``Japanese Foreign History,'' which had a great influence on the patriots at the end of the Edo period, was active. The former home of Sanyo's grandfather, Kiyoshi Yoriyoshi, is located in the townscape preservation district. (Excerpt from the Japan Historical Travel Association) At the annual Takehara Longing Road, the town is beautifully illuminated with candlelight and bamboo lanterns set in the townscape preservation district. The atmosphere of the old house leaking through the lattice door is also very atmospheric, giving you the illusion of having traveled back in time.

This tour uses a mountain bike with electric assist, which is still rare in Japan! You can enjoy the running of E-MTB, which you can hardly experience. Even beginners of mountain biking can participate with peace of mind because they have electric assist. Run the forest road that can only be entered on this tour with MTB (I will borrow it specially from the mountain owner), and when you finish running the forest road, there is the 9th station of Mt. Omine, the highest peak in Hiroshima city. It takes only 10 minutes to climb, and there is a spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea! With a 360 ° view, you can enjoy from the sea to the mountains. If it is sunny, you can see the mountains of Shikoku, and if it is clearer, you can see Kyushu. After having lunch at the top of the mountain, we had a coffee break. Boil water at the top of the mountain and brew coffee on the spot. Freshly brewed coffee after climbing is exceptional! Enjoy a cup of coffee while enjoying the best views. At the top of the mountain, you can study a little about the circulation of mountains, rivers, the sea, and the sky, and while running on the forest road, think about the meaning of the forest road. This is a tour where you can learn about the environment. As soon as you return safely, go to the hot springs! The hot spring is right next to the Yuki Exchange Experience Center, the final stop. Sweat well, relax your body, and go home. * Height limit: 157 cm or more (approximate, due to MTB specifications)

※※※Due to the risk of heat stroke, guided tours of the Nageire-do Hall, which is a low mountain in midsummer, are suspended from late July to early September. Consultation is required※※※The National Treasure Nageire-do Hall is located on Mt. Mitoku in Misasa Town, Tottori Prefecture, and is known as the most dangerous national treasure in Japan. Come and worship at the hall, surrounded by the autumn yellow leaves of the forest, by walking along the Shugendo trail to the hall. You can view the hall from the remote worship site at the foot of the mountain, but you should walk the Shugendo trail with all your heart and soul, and purify yourself of the impurities of the Six Senses Cleansing, to worship at the hall up close. To worship at the hall up close, you will have to walk the steep Shugendo trail, climbing tree roots, climbing chains, and walking through rocky mountains, even though it is a short distance. You will have to go back and forth on the same path, but it is also dangerous when descending. Also, you must have at least two people to enter the mountain, so if you are traveling alone or doing solo activities, you will have to go with someone. In order to protect the natural environment and maintain Shugendo, trekking poles and other walking sticks are not allowed. A local guide will accompany you on the strict Shugendo experience, which can be dangerous, so you can experience Shugendo safely and with peace of mind. If you feel that you cannot go alone, please use a guide as a travel companion or Shugendo leader. *Mt. Mitoku itself is a mountain with an elevation of 899m, but the area where the Nageire Hall is located is a low mountain at an elevation of 400m. We do not recommend going to low mountains in midsummer, as the temperature is as high as in a town on the plains and there is a high risk of heatstroke. We do not operate tours from late July to early September. Please inquire.

This is a private kagura performance where a small group of 1 to 10 people can enjoy Iwami Kagura, a traditional performing art that has been passed down in the western part of Shimane Prefecture since ancient times, at Ryugozen Shrine in the hot spring town of Yunotsu, Shimane Prefecture. Iwami Kagura is a dance that has been practiced since ancient times in the Iwami region of western Shimane Prefecture, mainly based on Japanese mythology, and is danced to lively music while wearing gorgeous costumes woven with gold and silver threads and expressive masks. It is a traditional performing art that has been passed down. With this plan, you can enjoy a local sake pairing from ``Wakabayashi Sake Brewery,'' a sake brewery in Onsentsu that has been in business for over 100 years, in a private space limited to one group per day and a maximum of 10 people. After the performance, you can also get to know the behind-the-scenes aspects of traditional performing arts, such as interacting with dancers, trying on costumes, playing music, and taking photos. In addition, the ``Kagura Cup,'' the cup into which sake is poured, is handmade by ``Kameya Ceramics,'' a company that manufactures the stone tiles that decorate roofs in the Iwami region, and you can take it home as a souvenir after viewing it. (For customers who prefer non-alcoholic drinks, we use Iwashimizu, Wakabayashi Sake Brewery's brewing water, and also enjoy ``mulberry tea,'' a material used to make Sekishu washi paper used in the production of Kagura masks. *Seasonal) (The tea leaves may change depending on the situation) If you like tradition, history, and theater performances, you can enjoy it regardless of your age or nationality.

It's a waste to just take a walk around Okunoshima! We have prepared a slightly unusual guided tour. Walk the island with your guide and enjoy the island a little deeper.
