We receive many requests to write their name in kanji, so please let us know in advance the name you would like to write (only one person) and we will prepare a sample! You can use the name of a family member (only one name) instead of your own! In this hands-on class, you will polish the ink you use by yourself. You can see for yourself that the color of the ink gradually becomes darker. In addition, the tools used in calligraphy, such as brushes, paper, inkstones, and ink, are explained in an easy-to-understand manner using panels with photos. The lesson begins and ends with a seated prayer. We will also explain the etiquette of the zarei in an easy-to-understand manner! Start with basic writing techniques such as vertical lines and horizontal lines, practice the selected kanji on paper, and finally write them on the fan. You can take the fan home with you, so it also makes a great souvenir!

This plan allows you to walk around the town freely wearing a kimono or yukata. This page is for those applying alone. There is a discount plan for two or more people. Please apply from there. The Katakai Fireworks Festival will be open for special business on August 2nd and 3rd, and September 9th and 10th. For details, search for "Kimono Rental Mayu" on SNS. You can walk around Niigata Furumachi in a kimono, and there are shrines, temples, historical buildings, and Japanese gardens nearby. You can participate alone. We will provide kimonos from October to May, and yukatas from June to September. We have over 70 kimonos for women and over 80 yukatas for women. We have basic navy blue, gray, and dark brown kimonos for men, in S, M, L, and LL sizes. We also have basic colors for men's yukatas.

"Samurai Training Tokyo Asakusa" is a samurai experience plan supervised by Takafuji Ukon, the head of the Ukon School of Sword Dance, which is active on the world stage. Feel like a samurai by changing into a hakama and holding a sword in Asakusa, a popular tourist destination in Japan! A swordsman from the school will carefully teach you how to use a sword. The content is designed to allow you to enjoy swordsmanship without being too rigid, so it is also fun for children and groups. At the end of the experience, you will be presented with an official school certificate with your photo, so please feel free to make a memorable and recordable memory of Japan!
