This is an experience of removing pearls and making paired accessories at a pearl farm in Ise-Shima, the birthplace of pearl farming. Enjoy taking out the pearls to see what kind of pearls will come out! Pearls come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. You can take out Akoya pearls with a diameter of 6 mm, and if you are lucky, 8 mm in diameter! Let's make matching pearl accessories for parents and children using the extracted pearls ♪ ~ Flow of the experience ~ 1. Gathering and reception 2. Explanation 3. Pearl extraction experience ・ Take a photo with a net containing Akoya oysters on a raft We will ask you to do so. (In case of rain, you will be asked to take a photo inside the workshop) - Choose your favorite Akoya oyster from the net and remove the pearl. - Polish the pearls with salt and cloth. ④ Accessory making experience - Choose the metal fittings for your accessories.・The staff will make a hole in the pearl.・For those who are in the upper grades of elementary school or above, you can experience gluing pearls and metal fittings. ⑤You can take it home on the day. The adhesive will completely harden after 24 hours. Please wait one day to wear it.
