Fish (Iyu) or Shisa Urushi Painting Plan This plan allows you to paint your favorite lacquer painting on Yachimun parts. You can choose from the following two shapes. a. Fish (Iyu) Course: Paint your favorite pattern on a fish-shaped Yachimun. You can either copy the sample pattern or paint your own favorite pattern! It is also recommended as a keepsake or gift with a name and date. Once completed, you can take it home as a magnet or strap. b. Shisa Plan: Paint your favorite lacquer painting on a Shisa-shaped Yachimun. You can paint not only Shisa (female and male), but also dogs, cats, frogs, bears, and other animals you like. All materials are organic, so it's safe and secure♪ It can be washed with water and reused, so it's kind to your wallet (usage period: about 1 year). "Yaeyama Minsa" is a textile made of cotton, plain weave, and produced in Ishigaki City and Taketomi Town. The biggest feature is that the five and four kasuri patterns embody the idea of ​​``Forever and ever, until the end of the five (five) worlds (four).'' Yaeyama Minsa-ori goes through many processes to create a single piece of fabric, but just like in the past, many of these processes are done by hand with great care. At the Minsa Crafts Museum, customers can actually experience ``weaving'', one of the processes of Yaeyama Minsa weaving, for themselves.
