In this course, unlike full-fledged kintsugi, which uses real lacquer, substitute lacquer is used to restore the pottery. It is resistant to rashes and dries quickly, so you can take your work home with you on the same day. In addition, in this course, you can prepare a vessel for restoration, so you can easily experience Kintsugi empty-handed. Of course, you can also bring the vessel you want to do kintsugi. The shop is located in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, where many long-established traditional craft shops gather. During the Edo period, it prospered as a base for commerce and logistics, and even now you can feel the atmosphere of Edo culture everywhere. You can enjoy making authentic rings using K10 and K18! The rings handmade by the customer are finished by craftsmen, so they are beautifully finished. You can also decide on your favorite surface finish on the day while looking at the sample, so you can make your own original ring. The option to add diamonds is 5,500 yen per piece, and we will keep it for about 2 to 3 weeks and process it. You can choose to pick it up in store or by mail. After that, we will decide the ring width and engraving, and measure your finger size. 10 minutes ② The craftsman will use pliers to roll the base metal that has been softened by fire and match the ends. 15 minutes ③ The craftsman will adjust it and weld it. If you wish, you can experience it with support. 10 minutes ④ We will use a wooden mallet to hammer it until it becomes a perfect circle. The craftsman will support you so that it does not exceed the ring size you requested. 15 minutes ⑤ We will polish it.
