Kintsugi is a repair technique in which cracks, chips, and other damaged parts of ceramics are glued together with lacquer and decorated with gold and other metal powder. It is also called Kintsukuroi. At our salon, we use simple lacquer instead of real lacquer, and we finish at a reasonable price. Tableware that holds a special meaning can be revived by Kintsugi, and upgraded by applying gold. We accept lessons and orders. You cut them with a craftsman's saw and combine them to make hearts, leaves, and any other shape you like. The history of this rice field dyeing is recorded as "Kaga Black Dyeing" during the feudal period. Harvest the Akamekashiwa and Yamaurushi plants that grow wild in Tsurube, and soak the cloth in the boiled dye liquid for several tens of minutes.
