We offer experiential lessons to learn how to play the traditional Japanese instrument, the Koto. You can play a complete piece within 90 min session. All lessons will be conducted in English.〜Flow of the day〜18:00 Demo performanceThe instructor will showcase koto performance.18:05 Greetings/Class IntroductionThe instructor will give greetings and explain the lesson content.18:10 Brief Koto Lecture & Video Watching18:15 Lesson ProperParticipants will learn about posture when playing the koto, the history of the koto, how to tune it, explanations of each part, and how to read music scores.19:00 Playing SakuraThe lesson will focus on learning to play the famous song 'Sakura' on the koto.
