Neriko is a black pill-shaped incense that was widely used during the Heian period. In The Tale of Genji, there is a scene in which Hikaru Genji, Murasaki no Ue, and other characters are actually created and evaluated, and it is still known as one of the Six Kinds of Kaorumono. It is also used in front of the charcoal in winter during tea ceremonies. Nerika is not something to be used at room temperature, but rather to be warmed to enjoy its aroma. We placed lit charcoal in an incense burner filled with ashes, placed incense sticks on top of the warmed ashes, and enjoyed the scent that wafted through the air. Enjoy the relaxing time and space as the charcoal warms the ashes, along with the scent. It is also recommended before welcoming guests. We have boxes and bags for you to take home, as well as charcoal and incense burner ash for you to use at home.

Create your own original incense paste using only natural incense ingredients such as powdered sandalwood, dragon brain, and clove! Zuko is a powdered incense that monks apply on their palms as a purifying scent in Buddhism. Among the Japanese scents that are used by transferring the scent to something, it is the only one that can be applied directly to the body. In ancient times, people used to collect the first morning dew that had accumulated on lotus leaves, mix sandalwood with the water, and apply it to their bodies. Unlike liquid scents, it is a powder type, so it has low volatility and does not easily diffuse into the surrounding area, making it a convenient scent that can be used without being noticed by those around you. Recommended for relaxing between work. There is no limit to the characters you can write. Please write your free ideas with a brush. Artistic calligrapher and contemporary artist Koji Takano will carefully guide you, so even beginners can feel at ease. Of course, you can take the completed work home with you. The performance is sure to look great on video! Let's keep a memento of the performance where you became an artist! You can face "calligraphy" by yourself and become an artist. A full-scale training tour of "Sumo", Japan's national sport. There are various rules for watching sumo training, and if you watch alone, you will often be warned by officials and wrestlers, and in the worst case, you may be forced to leave. At "Sumo Pro", we will accompany you with a guide who is familiar with sumo. In order not to make you feel uneasy, we will enter between the sumo stable and the customer, so you can watch with peace of mind. In addition, a dedicated guide will provide explanations in writing during the training. Although it is strict, you may get bored just by watching the monotonous training, but we will explain in detail what they are doing and what they are talking about. Unlike other companies, it is not a tour that just lets you watch. We have planned it with the aim of making it fun for customers to understand "sumo". We hope you will use it. *Normally, private conversations are strictly prohibited during training observations, but our interpreters will communicate in writing (in English) to answer questions from customers, such as explanations of the current training content, conversations between the masters, explanations of matches, and questions from customers. After the training, you can also communicate with the active wrestlers through the guide, and we will answer questions until your questions are resolved. Unlike training observations where you just watch the training and then it's over, we will have a guide specialized in sumo accompanying you and guiding you to the end. ~How it works~① Contact us the day before the day to let us know the location of the sumo stable you will be visiting, the meeting time, and important points.② On the day of the observation, meet at the entrance to the sumo stable. *Please be punctual.③ Observe the training for about 40 minutes to 1 hour (the observation time will vary depending on the training content and the physical condition of the wrestlers).④ During the observation, questions will be answered by writing with the English interpreter guide.⑤ After the training, take a commemorative photo with the wrestlers and answer questions in front of the entrance.⑥ Disband in front of the entrance to the sumo stable. *Please be sure to read the "Important points" and "Special notes" at the bottom of this page, and apply only if you agree. This is an experiential calligraphy class for foreign tourists visiting Japan, business travelers, or foreigners living in Japan. Write kanji with a brush while calming your mind in a Japanese-style room in a Japanese-style private house. We have prepared approximately 30 kanji characters that are popular among foreigners, such as love, dream, mother, father, friend, and flower. If you have any requests for kanji that you would like to write, please let us know in advance and we will prepare a model for you! We receive many requests to write their name in kanji, so please let us know in advance the name you would like to write (only one person) and we will prepare a sample! You can use the name of a family member (only one name) instead of your own! In this hands-on class, you will polish the ink you use by yourself. You can see for yourself that the color of the ink gradually becomes darker. In addition, the tools used in calligraphy, such as brushes, paper, inkstones, and ink, are explained in an easy-to-understand manner using panels with photos. The lesson begins and ends with a seated prayer. We will also explain the etiquette of the zarei in an easy-to-understand manner! Start with basic writing techniques such as vertical lines and horizontal lines, practice the selected kanji on paper, and finally write them on the fan. You can take the fan home with you, so it also makes a great souvenir!
