This special guided tour visits Ishiyama-dera Temple, which is associated with Murasaki Shikibu, the protagonist of this year's taiga drama, and the "To You, Shining Lake Biwa Otsu Taiga Drama Museum." A local volunteer guide will provide a detailed tour of the highlights of Ishiyama-dera Temple and the drama museum. You can also enjoy the Seta River and Lake Biwa River Cruise, which gives you a sense of the history of the Ishiyama pilgrimage that Murasaki Shikibu experienced. This cruise departs from in front of the Ishiyama-dera temple gate, and offers a special experience of being able to enjoy the beautiful scenery that Murasaki Shikibu would have seen from the boat. You can enjoy duck hot pot in a completely private space by renting a single inn! Feel free to bring your own beverages as well. Time is 2 hours and 30 minutes! You can relax after your meal!
