A collaboration between Hokkaido and Western horse riding! Board a shuttle bus from Sapporo and head to the cowboy town of "Wild Mustangs" at the foot of Mt. Hakkenzan, which is on the way to Jozankei Onsen and Hoheikyo Onsen. The town is located on high ground, so the fresh air is delicious. You will patrol the pure white snow fields on horseback! A sheriff guide will teach you carefully, so even beginners and children can feel safe. After learning how to ride a horse from a sheriff guide, you will mount your horse and patrol the western town! Orchards and campsites spread out below you. Set off on a patrol while enjoying the scenery! In the 80-minute course, you will challenge yourself to trot, and learn from the sheriff how to ride without bouncing (light trot). Spending time with a horse will rhythmically refresh your body and mind. You will definitely be drawn into the charm of the western world! Kuromatsunai Town is a small town with a population of about 2,700, located inland where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Japan are closest to each other. In the morning, we left Oshamambe-cho overlooking the Pacific Ocean, ran through the beach of Shizukari, and crossed the pass to Kuromatsunai. Then, leisurely pass through the Satoyama in Kuromatsunai to Suttsu-cho, a town facing the Sea of Japan. Aim for about 50km in a day with a local guide.
