If the weather is good, you can even have aerial photography by a professional drone photographer... The pace will be adjusted to suit your experience and physical strength, so anyone can participate with confidence! [Participation Requirements] Healthy participants aged 9 or older (able to swim comfortably) who agree to the pledge on the day. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or submit a consent form. *Those who have consumed alcohol or are taking certain medications are not permitted. [Items to Bring/Equipment] Swimsuit or rash guard, clothing that can get wet, beach sandals, towel, drinks, shower and changing clothes, tents provided (provided as needed). The magnificent location, surrounded by seasonal scenery and volcanoes, truly a "theater of nature," with views of Mt. Yotei to the north and Mt. Usu and Mt. Showa-Shinzan to the south. This is a SUP experience provided by Shiraoi Nature Office Co., Ltd. Lake Poroto in Shiraoi Town is adjacent to the National Ainu Museum and is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from Shiraoi Station, but it is rarely visited, allowing you to spend a luxurious time feeling as if you have nature all to yourself. The calm waters are perfect for canoeing and SUP, making it safe for even beginners to outdoor activities. Adults and children alike can enjoy a relaxing time relaxing their mind and body while surrounded by the greenery of the trees.

Enjoy the UNESCO certified World Geopark and National Park Special Zone with two programs: kayaking and nature experience. Lake Poroto is a place where people have lived together as part of nature since ancient times. Although it is a small lake with a circumference of about 4 kilometers, it is a very rich lake packed with waterside nature such as forests, marshes, sand, swamps, and rivers. Take a leisurely canoe ride around Lake Poroto while listening to all about its nature, culture, and history! This is the plan. Lake Poroto is rich in nutrients brought from the mountains, and is home to many birds, fish, and animals, or where they visit in search of food. The scenery also changes drastically with each season, with skunk cabbage in spring, water lilies in summer, autumn leaves, and snow-covered snow in winter, so visitors never get bored.
