A special performance by Kanazawa geisha, "Kanazawa Geisha Dance," will be held at the Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater Annex (right next to Kenrokuen Garden). Kanazawa is home to three teahouse districts: Higashi Chaya District, Nishi Chaya District, and Kazuemachi Chaya District, where traditional streetscapes are still carefully preserved. Each district boasts its own charming atmosphere and is a famous tourist destination. Each district is home to a "Kanazawa geisha" who continue the teahouse culture dating back to the feudal era. Since these districts usually do not welcome first-time visitors, it is rare to have the opportunity to interact with geisha. However, this special event will feature performances by Kanazawa geisha, including traditional Japanese dance, traditional Japanese instruments (shamisen and flute), and taiko drumming. You can also experience traditional Japanese entertainment that can only be found at a teahouse. This is a chance to enjoy the traditional performing arts that Kanazawa and Ishikawa Prefecture are proud of, up close and personal, so if you're interested, please join us! *The venue is covered with tatami mats, so you can experience an atmosphere closer to that of a traditional Japanese tatami room.

The annual "The Charm of Kaga Hosho - Candlelight Noh Appreciation Event" will be held at the Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater. You can enjoy Noh in the fantastic light of candles. Although reserving spots is prohibited at the Mikuni fireworks, this is the only place you can reserve a spot! On the day of the event, you can come to Hamachaya Diamond Head without worrying about finding a spot! There are also toilets on the beach, so you can use them without leaving the beach. You don't have to worry about missing the fireworks! Before the fireworks start, you can stay in the covered seats at Hamachaya Diamond Head until the sun goes down! If you make a reservation, we will provide parking for you for an additional 2,000 yen per car.

Seats on the sandy beach, right by the waves. Avoid the crowds, sit back on a resort chair and enjoy watching the fireworks while spending quality time. Although reserving spots is prohibited at the Mikuni Fireworks, this is the only spot you are allowed to reserve! Please come to Hamachaya Diamond Head with peace of mind! There are also toilets on the Hamachaya premises, so you don't have to leave Sunset Beach and you don't have to worry about missing the fireworks!

The restrooms are limited to 20 Special VIPs, so you can use them without queuing, and you don't have to worry about missing the fireworks. From before the fireworks start until the sun goes down, you can spend your time under the roof at Hamachaya Diamond Head!

The Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater will be hosting a performance called "Noh Viewing Evening," where you can enjoy authentic Noh. The program will also include an explanation of the plot and highlights, so even beginners can easily enjoy the performance. The price is also reasonable! Before the performance, a Noh experience (4 times in total) will be held for those who will be attending on the day [advance reservation required]! The experience content will vary depending on the date of the performance, so please check the details on the Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater website before applying. In addition, you can use the subtitle commentary service "Noh Support" for free. This service is recommended for beginners and foreigners who are new to Noh, as it automatically displays lines and commentary (in Japanese and English) on your smartphone!
