Let's start a beautiful journey today Noboribetsu (about 60 minutes) In the ruins of a volcano in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, there remains a grassy area with a diameter of about 450 meters formed about 10,000 years ago. Noboribetsu Jigokudani got its name because it smells of sulfur and looks like you are in hell. Oyunuma is the remains of a crater formed when Hiyoriyama erupted, and sulfur springs at about 130 degrees gush out from the bottom of the pond, which is the source of Noboribetsu's main hot spring inns. There is an observation deck here where you can see the steaming lake right in front of you, and you can also walk around and experience the lake up close. As you walk around the lake, you can smell the sulfur, and you can see the hot springs that are always smoking and bubbling, and the yellow sulfur balls floating on the lake's surface are particularly noticeable. [A boat tour with excellent stability!] <Standard course> River touring of about 5.5 km from the meeting point, Daiichi Usakumai Bridge, to under the expressway overpass! Since you will go down in a wide rafting boat, there is almost no risk of capsizing! You can stop the boat along the way to look for creatures, or you can cool off by putting your feet in the river and going down the river. Enjoy the beautiful Chitose River with peace of mind! The boat will be steered by a safe and secure guide, so it is especially recommended for those who are worried about river rafting, families with children, and those who want to take their time taking photos! In addition, the boat can accommodate up to 7 adults, or 8 people if you include children, making it a great way to make some great memories! As of 2024, this is a course where you can fully enjoy Lake Shikotsu, which boasts the second highest transparency in Japan, and the Chitose River that flows out of it. An experience you can only have here! Put on a dry suit and walk on the drift ice! Drift ice comes ashore on the coast of Okhotsk from late January. At its peak, the coast of Utoro is covered with pure white drift ice, creating a scene that you won't find anywhere else in Japan. Wear a special dry suit and walk on and touch the drift ice. Take a walk through the Utasai beech forest, which is designated as a national natural monument, with a nature guide. Take a walk with your guide to the national natural monument "Utasaibunabayashi" that has survived the two logging crises. In spring, take a walk while watching the pretty spring ephemeral flowers and the young shoots of fresh green beech. In summer, you can feel the natural energy in the dark green. In autumn, you can meet the golden beech forest.
