This is the first tour in Japan where you can do SUP with drift ice in the background. Drift ice can be seen floating in the Sea of Okhotsk, which is located in the northeastern part of Japan, every year. Drift ice season is from January to March, and drift ice SUP peak is from late February to the end of March. The drift ice SUP tour will be held in the Sea of Okhotsk in the Abashiri area. Hokkaido is the southernmost spot in the northern hemisphere where drift ice appears. If you're lucky, you might see animals from the Arctic waters, such as Steller's sea eagles and harbor seals.
