The Mito Plum Festival, one of the largest festivals in Mito City, is celebrating its 129th anniversary this year, and a new night event, Kairakuen UME The Lights, will be held at the festival, where you can enjoy 3,000 plum trees of about 100 varieties! The world of yin and yang that Tokugawa Nariaki, the founder of Kairakuen, instilled in Kairakuen will be expressed in a way that is unique to the night with new lighting.
